As you all know, there has been a lot of discussing going on about where Innuendo is going to go from here on, after we killed Arthas in ICC 10 that is. You have without a doubt seen how the free attendance rule worked in reality, and I'm the first one to admit that no, it's not working and that I was wrong about it. We simply cannot continue like this although I would much want to do so. Without a raiding basis, without any expectations at all for people showing up at raiding days we cannot make any plans and people are often left out or, on a few occassions, we don't have enough people to raid with.

I think it stands to reason that we change that. Most probably it's gonna be 3 raids per week, minimum attendance at two. If you can't make it, you get demoted and you raid whenever you want, provided that there's a spot.

Secondly to what we will be doing at least Cataclysm, most probably after it hits as well. The way I see it, having one group of 10 is way, way more hardcore than having one group of 25 or 2 groups of 10. The reason is simple, say that you have a guild of 12-13 people and a 10 man team for each raiding day. What if the MT cannot make it? What if 2 healers get stuck on traffic or just do not feel like raiding on that day? Worse yet, what if the tanks go on holiday for 2 weeks and 2 DPS have exams? I think inevitably, in order for that to work, you have to play with proffessionals. Now a proffessional guild we are not, and we do not intend to be, so that's pretty much out of the question.

Because of that, we're thinking of getting a strong player basis of 25 people or more, and decide with time if we want to run 25 or 2x10. Until then, until we have formed that team and we do not need 13 pugs to do a farm run at ICC 25, I suggest we run 2x10s, difficulty depending on the group's setup.

Give us your opinions on all that. We want to lead this guild horizontally, I have told people time and again. Do us a favour though, this option and power is given to you. Come read the forums, provide us with your feedback. I do not want to see this thread holding three answers.

Nicely said. The way I see it, the guild is in a difficult position. We do not got enough people to go 25-man, and we got more people than needed to go 10-man. In my opinion, pugging is not an option, especially now that most pugs are well... noobs. Taking 10 people and letting some others out because there's not enough room for them is not an option either. So what to we do?
Personally, I don't think we can form a proper 25-man guild until cataclysm. The reason is obvious, most players have already achieved what they wanted to or were able to. So, until cataclysm, I suggest we invite some more people and stay a 10-man guild running 2 raids a week (2 HCs or 1 normal and 1 heroic, depending on people's skills and mood). This way there will be some challenge, as well. (yes the 10 heroic IS a challenge)

About cataclysm now: I think the bigger the pool is, the more options we have. So when cataclysm is released, I suggest we go 25-man, which will then be, of course, a lot easier to form than now. I agree with Jante, a 10-man is more hardcore that a 25-man. Besides, if we get enough people to go 25man, we can easily go 10-man as well, with alts or socials. A 25-man guild has also less chances not to raid that a 10-man for the reasons Jante said. Finally, the 2x10 raids in cataclysm is not an option imo. I mean, If a guild has 20 people to go 2 10-mans, why not get 5 more to go 25? If half of the guild-mates bring a friend of theirs, its done. So, 25man in cataclysm hands down and keep it low until then doing 2 10-mans.

25 man had to find ppl and if u can find 25 ppl hard to manage . @ cata 10 man and 25 man raids will have same ilvl drops and all will focus on 10 man I guess . Here have a problem on 2 x 10 man if we cant mix groups all weeks . Pll get bored and will left if one group collect all good tanks healers and dps all week for first raid group . If no one cares ppl in guild excep core 10 man we must talk about that and decide who will be in first 10 man group and all other must look their way .I guess GM / Jante will decide this and tell ppl . I m in for 10 and 25 np for me if we can do 25 , my opinion @ cata ppl will make 10 man guild and raids and I guess I want to be a part of that kind of guild .
